alright, did another install, jre and sdk 1.4 were installed, installed CF with built in server option. Firewall is turned off, on installation complete screen it gives me, You have succesfully blah blah, but the CF service does not appear to be running, the web server connectors did not install successfully, and the web server and /or website could not be reached on port 80. Possible reasons include the coldfusion service failing to start, blocked 2920 or 51011 ports, or the web server and/or website is not running or is not configured to listen to port 80. Then it gives some steps. I will try to go through these and see what I come up with. anything to look for in the mean time??
