Should be something like

<cfoutput>#DateFormat(DateUploaded,'MM/DD/YYYY')#</cfoutput>

(You can change the 'MM/DD/YYYY' mask to mimic the format you're looking to
output, see the docs, or someone else posted a few examples of different
ways)
