Have you confirmed this with Management? Have you complained yet? What was
the response?
There has to be some logic behind the change. Maybe they are going to
support both languages. Also wondering what additional features in 4.0 are
that critical over 3.0. Seems like owning the source code would allow all
developers to make  changes and improvements themselves.
