Actually, Mike, I respectfully beg to differ with you. I, as a partner,
received two FYI e-mails from Able Solutions in the past two months - Sept
and Oct. In either one there is absolutely no mention of your companies
switch to ASP. Here is the text that accompanied each FYI e-mail:

"* CommerceBuilder 1.0 goes to public beta - Download a copy today!

CommerceBuilder is a fully customizable real-time electronic commerce
shopping system. It incorporates an online
store-building utility that simplifies multiple store management. All
system-level and merchant-level administration
runs entirely from a web browser. With CommerceBuilder, you can dynamically
create and update your product
inventory in real-time while using the built-in inactivate and preview
features necessary for areas in construction.

You have the ability to manage tens-of-thousands of products or just one. A
relational (hierarchical) database
allows inventory into be organized into unlimited levels of categories for
easy page-by-page navigation.
CommerceBuilder enables merchants to easily create and modify store
templates using standard HTML editors
such as Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia DreamWeaver. Twelve fully
functional store templates are
included with the program. These templates can be used as is, or customized
to give a unique look and feel.
Integrated sub-modules include shipping, taxes, discounts, order retrieval,
product options, cross selling, and reports.

CommerceBuilder can support multiple domains, multiple SSL certificates, and
custom template modifications while
still using the dynamic settings provided by the online administration
modules. At the core of CommerceBuilder is a
set of compiled modules that can be accessed via popular web scripting
languages. These modules provide the
functions necessary to e-commerce, such as user tracking, product
management, and online payment processing.
Support for many third-party real-time credit card processors is included,
and the interface is fully extendable for
integration with most other payment gateways."

I don't see any reference to the new version being ASP and not CF. I would
think as a Partner we would have received a more informational message than
this.

Maybe if we, as partners, DID receive the information you list in times 1,2
and 3 below, we would not be confused as to what your company was up to
until we heard about it upon its release.

The information I posted, Mike, was given to me by your tech support team.
Like me, are THEY misinformed too? Should I trust what they say in the
future?

Respectfully,

John Cesta
