Sarah, If you are running NT, 2000, Solaris you can import the registry which contains all the db stuff you would need for your CF server. If I remember correctly it is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ALLAIRE/COLDFUSION/etc, simply export it and if you need it later on double click on .reg and you are done. Slick and Simple.
Cheers! pt. -----Original Message----- From: Sarah Skiba [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 02, 2002 4:17 PM To: CF-Server Subject: Need to downgrade We recently purchased CF5 and were unable to manage the advanced security areas so we need to downgrade to 4.5 until CFMX comes out. Can someone tell me if the datasources, etc will still be maintained? If not, is there a way to export them in a format that 4.5 can recognize? We're running WebSite 3.1 Thanks, Sarah Skiba, Web Services Administrator 715.325.7537 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________________________ Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body or visit the list page at www.houseoffusion.com
