Not to get arsy, but this doesn't have anything to do with ColdFusion, so I
don't think Dylan was trying to be arsy. Personally, I don't mind if the
lists cover other things once in a while. However, if you post something
that's off-topic, you can't very well be surprised if you get an off-topic
response.

I haven't seen any host-based firewall products which would let you do this.
If all you want to do is allow and disallow access to specific ports, you
might look at using the native functionality in Windows 2000 for this. You
can get at this functionality through the Local Security Settings tool in
the Administrative Tools folder on the Start menu. It's a terrible
interface, but it lets you set ingress/egress rules or IPsec requirements
once you've figured out the interface. There was a good tutorial somewhere
on Securityfocus. Of course, if you want anything beyond those sorts of
rules, such as content filtering or logging, you'll need a separate firewall
package.
