One thing to watch out for with pcanywhere is if you install it on Windows2k with IIS 5.0, you will also have to reinstall IIS and will lose all your settings in your metabase. This happened to me.
When it happens you will also get an error when trying to reinstall IIS about the file's being encrypted and is use etc. The only way around this is to manually delete the encryption keys used on the machine, reboot and then reinstall IIS.
