Thanks to all you guys!! Well, first thing regarding web connectors & webconfig utility... i am not able to run it successfully b'cos it always gives the dreaded jndi.properties message (though everything has been checked more than twice). That's why i had to manually configure everything in the first place. :(
2nd point, regarding the cfide/scripts. Yes, cfide is configured and also the scriptsrc textbox in the admin points to /cfide/scripts... since / points to the webroot & is available to all the sites, the folder is visible to all the websites. As regards the code part I don't think its an issue since I am not able to see the code snippets left menu of the MM's own getting started kit. I would have posted the URL but I am running the code on my home system. Just a newbie at CF.. I am into PHP/ASP/.NET. Just wanted to try CFMX coz in one of my new applications, the client ideally would like his employees to fill lots of details from a single single (that's the job for flash form, using tabs & all the fancy stuff). I can build the application using the built-in server which worked fine for me but again, there's no point doing that if I won't be able to set it up on their server... for which again I'd be responsible because there maintenance agency is not willing to take the pain of setting up their server. Steve: Special thanks to for fiddlertools, but i haven't been able to check that one out as of now. It would be nice if you can mail me the settings you initially had when trying to put it up on your win2k3 server. Hope to hear some more suggestions from you people.
