There is a single processor on the server P4 3.6 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, Windows 2000 
Server SP4.

Minimum JVM Heap Size 512 mb
Maximum JVM Heap Size 1024 mb
-XX:+UseParallelGC

What GC type you suggest to set?

What PermSize setting you suggest to use? I had a default setting 
-XX:MaxPermSize=128m. Now I changed it to -XX:MaxPermSize=384m 
-XX:PermSize=256m.
