Is the database server itself running in single-user mode, or is the specific database in question set to single-user mode? I can't see how deadlocks, no matter how frequent, would cause either. Typically, this might be caused by a database maintenance plan or some other sort of maintenance operation. http://forums.databasejournal.com/archive/index.php/t-9906.html Dave Watts, CTO, Fig Leaf Software http://www.figleaf.com/ Fig Leaf Software provides the highest caliber vendor-authorized instruction at our training centers in Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Baltimore and Northern Virginia, or on-site at your location.
