i don't know if this is what you want, but here's some suggestions on how to
deal with a busy mailing list using outlook/exchange.

if you're running an exchange server, you can set up a public folder, and
limit the number of days a message will live in the folder (this is what i
do, 7 days of messages max). There are a couple of ways you can get the
messages into the folder. you can set up a rule in outlook that moves it
immediately to the folder on the server when you recieve it. another way is
to subscribe the folder to cf-talk instead, as public folders on
exchange can have their own email address. have your exchange admin give you
permission to "Send As" that folder so you can post as the folder. The good
thing about this method is that you can allow all your cf programmers Send
As priveleges, and it keeps all the emails in one place.

you can also create a new folder in your inbox for cf-talk, create a rule to
put the emails in as they arrive, and under properties set autoarchive to
delete or archive items based on age.
