Yea, I thought this was a strange comparison. You're comparing a fairly simple Peer
Web server with a full-featured, multi-homed, SSL-capable WebSite server (unless
you're talking about WS1.x non-Pro, in which case leave out the SSL part).

So it really depends on what you need a Web server for. Personally I've found WebSite
extremely solid in my hosting biz, and it's easily the best documented Web server on
the market (in terms of user docs). The developer answers questions himself on the
support list, etc, etc. There's no way I'd trade it in for IIS. Having to re-install
your OS because of a Web server doesn't sound right to me (it doesn't touch the OS),
except of course if you're talking about IIS as the Web server ;-) Of course you
don't say what else you do on this machine.

PWS should work fine if you're just working on a single site and don't need multi-home
capability. You also need to consider your deployment environment, and make sure
there won't be any differences between Web servers. Personally I don't like PWS at
all, and would rather use Apache for a free server to test on, but that's me. If you
have trouble setting up/maintaining WebSite, Apache is definitely not for you.

Cheers,
-Max
