Nick,

macromedia is coming out with UltraDev for the PC and Mac at the same
time. From what I've seen of it, its going to be very compedative with
CFStudio. It has a combination of features from dreamweaver and a full
fledged editor that is similar in many ways to CF Studio. One very nice
thing about it is the live preview of your datasources. For more
information see http://www.macromedia.com/software/ultradev/

This might be a good alternative to running VirtualPC and CFStudio on
your PowerBook. Right now I'm trying to persuade the powers that be to
go for a similar setup.

BTW I noticed that you didn't mention the firewire inputs. A friend of
mine is a cameraman, and has the same setup as you. He uses his
powerbook to do live edits of material shot in the field. Its a real
impressive setup.

regards,
larry
