What about a dual 933Mhx system with a quad 500Mhz system? Yup, the dual Linux setup beat the quad Windows setup too. I'm sure there is a reason why Macromedia didn't publish a direct comparison between all the platforms, but I don't know what it is. However, if you are still unsure that Linux outperforms the other platforms I suggest you do your own tests.
