Personally I think the media is what now controls the marketplace. If the media says there is something wrong...then something is wrong and the unwashed masses beleive it. It's really quite scary sometimes to watch major news stories onfold (on any topic). The assumptions that get made are absolutely frighteneing, and yet they become reality.....yikes!
