I think you misread the intent of my statement: http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=irony The funny thing is, before I became a programmer, I worked with other programmers as a technical writer; I saw the insane hours they put in and swore up and down that I'd never be so stupid as to become a programmer myself. And then, the internet became popular, and ColdFusion made programming easy, and I got sucked into the "programmer lifestyle". So, thanks a bunch, Allaire.
