also one more thing...i know its a story told by few....but....the dollars are out there to be made....you just have to network and get from behind that computer monitor to find them...we can never make a dime sitting behind the monitor forever! we must get out there and network, and make friends and put ourselves out there in front of the spending few ;)

I don't think I'd even call it easy > money... I would admit that I like getting paid for my > hobby and I'd probably be a programmer even if no one > paid me for it (assuming I could make a living doing > anything else!). I think you misread the intent of my statement: http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=irony The funny thing is, before I became a programmer, I worked with other programmers as a technical writer; I saw the insane hours they put in and swore up and down that I'd never be so stupid as to become a programmer myself. And then, the internet became popular, and ColdFusion made programming easy, and I got sucked into the "programmer lifestyle". So, thanks a bunch, Allaire. If it weren't for you guys, I'd be a lawyer right now - and I'd be somewhere other than in front of a computer right now.
