SAC> Doesn't WinForms require a large client-side download and install? Yeah, but as we know the CLR is coming with every version of Windows in the future, and from what I have seen it will come with IE7 which follows MS's trend of releasing a new version of the browser with and OS release (that being Win.Net). I don't label .Net as a big competitor, but it will have a lot of penetration, and might be very useful on the intranet. SAC> As for SVG, yes, we keep an eye on that. It'll be interesting to see what SAC> take up it gets. It has it's advantages and disadvantages when compared to Flash, I don't think it's ever going to compete in the animation and UI stuff. I just like the flexibility it potentially would give for a more lightweight UI that could be written entirely by a coder. Kind of like the next evolution in rollovers, nav's, etc. -- jon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________________________ Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
