1. If a post is not technical in nature than it is off topic. 2. If a post is a 'debate' post (as this one is) then it is off topic. 3. If a post degrades into fights, even if it started as an on topic post, then it has moved into being off topic.
Now, I'll say this one more time. The original poster asked people to email him OFF LIST. When I asked for the topic not to be posted to, more messages came in. After another request from me to move the topic to the list where it was appropriate and 18 messages on it, I blocked it. Is it a bother? Yes, for CF-Talk. No for CF-Community. On CF-Community people can be as passionate as they want on the topic. That's the proper place for community posts and off topic debates. I'm not stifling peoples free speech nor sacrificing Christians to Pagans. I'm trying to keep the list on topic as best I can.
