CF-Partners was set up for communications between the CF-Community and
Allaire at the end of their run and the beginning of MM's ownership. It had
a lot of good posts including the ones concerning the ISP licensing which,
after talking with the community, was worked out in a way that everyone was
happy with. The idea is that we're all partners with MM in this thing we
call ColdFusion, even if we're not in the "Partner Alliance".
Macromedia, CF-Macromedia, Macromedia-Talk, and MM-Talk are all on the table
as a new name for that list. The point is to make it kind of obvious that
the list is for talking with MM. I think it'll help keep CF-Talk on topic
and help out Vernon with his job, especially when he has 300+ posts to go
through (as the list has been doing at times for the last week).
