hello,

I just started subscribing to this list recently, but I think it makes sense to
keep "discussion/debate" posts on one list and technical posts on another.  While
some of the discussions are interesting, I think some people are really just
interested in asking technical technical questions and trying to help others find
answers to theirs.  Just because some people decide to ignore the list guidelines
doesn't mean the guidelines should be thrown away; these people should just be
dealt with accordingly to keep the list free of clutter and flame.
