In the administration area for Caching Settings, what's a reasonable size for "Template Cache Size" on a server with 1 Gigabyte of memory? It looks like the default size is 1024 kb. My system was slogging along really slow and after going through all sorts of headaches trying to fix it, I went to this area and changed the setting to 32 megs. The system seems to run much more easily now. I don't know if it is coincidental or not - I suspect not but am interested in some education on this setting.
The "help" area on this suggests setting it to the total size of all templates. Is this a good ballpark figure? Any reason not to calculate the total size of all templates and then add some more "breathing room" to the setting? Thanks for some opinions/recommendations.
