Picked it up along the way several years ago before there was any such thing as version numbering with FB. I've not moved over to FB3 yet and personally never much bought into the notion of the "thou shalt" and "thou shalt not" aspect of the methodology. I use significant parts of it where appropriate, use my own in other places and have yet to encounter anything I would consider a limitation imposed by FB.
