the issue is here is that it says its XHTML - which it isnt.

Wells Fargo is not a member of the W3C. Macromedia is.

It would be nice if the Macromedia website validated to some version of 
the (X)HTML standard. Then we would not only know who to blame if a 
certain browser failed to work properly, but it would also be a nice 
conclusion of the efforts of Macromedia together with the Web Standards 
Project to make its own tools produce valid (X)HTML and a showcase of 
the abilities of those tools.

Now, we can only guess whether Macromedia or Opera is to blame and wait 
until somebody produces an XHTML compliant copy of the Macromedia 
website to prove it is possible, just like in the past Microsoft [1] and 
others have been proven to just not care about about the standards they 
produce themselves [2].
