Apart from licencing costs? performance concerns? Recode issues with a few
thousand CF sites? legacy constraints? Prior to updater 2 incredible
security concerns regarding shared servers and factory services?

Well I thought about it. But instead I thought I'd just sever my own limbs
with a plastic spork coated in salt if I ever got that masochistic again.

New builds will be CFMX, assuming we don't find any more gaping issues that
require disabling half of the core functionality for our apps to lock down..

As far as regclean? That goes under if severing my own limbs isn't
masochistic enough. Scripted reg changes that aren't written inhouse, don't
run on our servers. Windows makes a fine platform, as long as you rip its
guts out, kick its head in and stomp its brains untill it behaves.

Letting microsoft 'clean', 'tweak' or otherwise alter your system
configuration if you've already configured it is somewhat akin to stabbing
yourself in the stomach repeatedly to reach that itchy spot on your back.

The issues it solves don't begin to encompass the issues it causes.
