Thank you for the compliment. But you know, in investment this would be the time to start doing the opposite from what I am saying, because you should never go with the herd :-) > But it brings up two points (at least 4 me) > 1) When it was brought up that it was the small video card I was kinda > surprised and asked my host about it & I got an "have you smoking crack > again" response. and these are people who do networking & data recovery for > the gov & are ms certified and all that. Install a plain VGA driver on a 16 gazillion color card and it will have just 16 colors. > 2) if you are running 16 color cards how are you getting it to install? > Would seem to me that you would have troubles as well then, correct? > Being that it falls under the minimum required? I am not running CF MX in production yet. For various reasons it did not qualify for the setup I wanted (since you might get the impression that I am a security zealot, let me just say that security was not one of those reasons). RedSky appears to be the first version that does qualify, so it was the first version that I built a staging environment for. And that was why I ran into the problem 3 weeks ago. > To me this falls under the "tweaking" category and I don't feel MM is > responsible for making it work perfectly with each persons personal > "tweaking" of their systems. I don't know who would be to blame for that, and I don't find that particularly interesting. > aside from that, when u coming state side jochem? > the offer is still open and the new house has a nice indoor pool/hot tub > (not to mention the umm....
