I'm curious why running itself isn't an option? Getting another dev server would be cheaper in the end (I think) than leasing one. If the developer's are all in the same place then it's a cake walk - even if they're not connectivity for a box is cheaper than leasing a box (place like SpeakEasy.net offer very attractive "webmaster" DSL plans for example and most cable providers will turn a blind eye to a small dev server). You can pick up a super cheapy box (something like a Celeron 700) for $300-$400 (if you don't have a machine lying around) - even decent rack servers can be had for $600-$1000. I know I'm missing something - but it seems like leasing a dedicated server is overkill when owning one outright is so cheap.
