Fair question considering the way most open source projects start out.
In this case though, Montara Software created an replacement HTML
editor pane and kit for the JDK and open sourced it. As such, the
project has started out with a mature base. You can check out the
project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/jxwb. The JXWB project is
just getting started, but you will see that the WWE subject has already
had a 1.0 release, which includes all the nessary Swing classes for
Java. Of course, if you fire up Eclipse and just download the latest
from CVS, you can use the existing work in JXWB as a test harness.
