The J2EE version will happily run on any J2EE compliant JSP/Servlet
container, of which Tomcat is one.  When you install, select the J2EE mode
(rather than standalone mode), and select to export a WAR file.  Then just
drop that in your webapps directory (within the tomcat root), and you'll be
running.

The second is targeted at Mac OSX, but if you're running *nix, it's mostly
applicable.
