Michael

You should really post the URL of your site:

    http://www.railo.ch/en/

I have looked at this product before & have been playing with the new
alpha release.

It is getting better all the time.

I particularly the way it deploys -- Just download, unzip & run it
(from the command line)

Not quite ideal (Download & DoubleClick), but close.

It appears that it will be a good candidate for use in
distributing/running CFML applications on CD or the Desktop -- the
CFAnywhere concept.

It's a little involved to set up datasources (no admin) -- you must
locate & modify the xml file at:

    <railooroot>/webroot/WEB-INF/railo/railo.xml

But is does work.

There are still some key  tags not implemented (cfobject, cfexecute,
etc.), and no CFCs (bummer) :(

Most functions appear to be implemented, but some things like date
format aren't -- pita!

But, if you go to their site documentation at:

    http://www.railo.ch/en/documentation/index.cfm?treeID=18

You can vote to  prioritize  (and be notified when) which
tags/functions are implemented.

Nice touch!

It seem quite fast and does not use much resources when idle:

0.00% CPU, 16 Threads, 38.74 MB Real Memory, 287.24 MB Virtual Memory
I couldn't find any information on pricing or redistribution.

It appears that the options for deploying CFML applications are
increasing & that's good for all of us!
