How many processors are you running?  What are your Java Settings/Arguments?
The problems you are setting are akin to a Garbage Collection issue.

I would recommend that you upgrade to the Sun J2SDK 1.4.2_05 server JVM.
There's at least one part of CFMX that doesn't work with the 1.5 JVM.
