It does depend tho'. I'd love to go to 6.1 (or 7) a the office... but I've been in shops (mostly those making heavy use of COM) where the attempt was a nightmare. Now that MOST of the database connection issues have been solved however I think that group that sees real big problems with 6.1 should be much smaller.
