And you don't even have to get that pricey - a $150 pocket PC will also let you view PDFs (although I prefer a "real" eBook format like LIT or OpenBook - they work much better across different sized devices). I do pretty much all of my reading on my handheld now (except for comics where I'm still partial to paper).
