Quite possibly not. Macromedia employees set up and run their own sites for all sorts of things and some of those are Macromedia-related, others are not. For example, my blog is a personal site, built by and paid for by me. No "sanctioning" and certainly no sponsorship. I think the same is true of Steven Erat's and Ben Forta's too and probably other Macromedians.
