I could, but depending on how the record is edited, it could no longer be on
that page. For arguments sake, assume I have a list of records alphabetically
sorted on column foobar, one page per letter. I edit record 213, foobar="B123"
to foobar="X123". I would like the user to be on the "x" page, not the "b"
page.

Now my situation isn't that easy, the pages are not separated by first letter
or anything. My first thought was something like this.

Determine current the record's row position in current record set.
Divide the position /12, round down.
Show this page.

I couldn't figure out a way to determine current row, but writing that out gave
me an idea with a dynamically added column in my sort query, numerating the
rows as they are sorted. I'm going to give this a try.
