Sounds like an interesting shift. If the framework becomes usable
separate from the code gen / IDE part (i.e., it becomes easy enough to
"manually" use the framework) then I think you'll get a lot more
interest from people.

Also, if you could rebuild the code gen / IDE tool as a CFMX web app...
