Well we made the transition at like 4:15am to avoid having to deal with many occurances of this. But for sql server issues one of the guys wrote an update routine to extract non-duplicate data which we ran after the migration. I am not sure how they handled access and other datasources, I will ask them and email you tomorrow when they are in.
