There are quite a few developers (myself being one) that don't buy DW
because CFE exists.  So MM is definitely losing sales to CFE, but
you're right, it's a pretty small amount, and it's primarily people
that only by DW for CF, not for all the design stuff it does. 
However, you're exactly right, if CFE keeps gaining ground, it's
entirely possible that MM will stop supporting HomeSite, which would
undoubtedly be a win for them.

In terms of a pure CFML editor, CFE is definitely way behind HomeSite
or DW, but because it's built with Eclipse, it has a lot of really
significant advantages.  Version control integration is a big one, but
other plugins (XML editing, DB interaction, visual modelling, etc.)
only sweeten the deal.  So if you're buying an editor, HS is best, but
if you want a development platform, Eclipse (with CFE) is light-years
ahead.
