BZZZZZZZZZT :) You get a magic cookie.

I have been voting for two years since I turned 18.

I understand really well what H1 Visas are and how
they work and I do not feel threatend by what they
represent or the corporations that are pressing the
legislation.

My point in saying they existed for long enough to
actually see people leaving because their visa expired
was simply to point out it has not affected IT worker
demaned or affected their salaries at all..

I have followed this topic rather closely and determined
that honestly they are not a bad thing. If the IT market
was flooded with competently skilled workers because
of this legislation then I would be concerned, but until
that situation exists its highly unfair and perhaps a
little biased to say that this is bad, especially when
there is a supposed huge demand for IT workers.

Please do not assume to much about people. I was
actually just a little annoyed at the topics presentation
it IS not really something for CF I should never have
replied, I shouldnt even be replying to this but I am
kind of offended to be used as an example of voter
apathy, I am probably a extremely low percentage of
people who were 18 and voted. And it was a hot headed
way to reply to a post I admit it, but I think assuming to
much about someone is kind of extreme.

Heh, that was incredibly rude Steve and I do not mind
saying so, my post in reply to the topic was just as rude.
Anyways I have been voting for two years, and not that its something
I should be proud of since its something people should
just do but I am since an extremely small percentage
of people under 25 vote.
