You'll be even more amazed at how the .NET Framework itself gives you all kinds 
of high-end goodies, especially through its large third party vendor base.

For example, there are a number of companies that sell high performance session 
object syndication software that scales realistically out to dozens of 
clustered servers, and some companies have similar offerings for high 
performance object cache syndication.  And it still freaks me out that you can 
install and configure things like this in just a few minutes, as compared to 
trying to get *any* form of clustering working in ColdFusion Server.

Once you see what tools are available to you in .NET, you start thinking about 
system design and application development in a whole new light.
