It can get past hilarious. I emailed them once because I couldn't log in to the main customer page. They sent me forms which I had to return by post with supporting identity documents. I eventually called the support line... password unlocked in no time.
Seriously, just skip the whole email support and give them a call. It's annoying that it (the phone call) cost money, but it seems to work a whole lot better.
