Honestly I don't know, but it has been possible here in Canada with many Telcos 
for years.  When it comes to cellular service and features, Japan wins...2nd 
place is probably the UK...then US...then Canada...we are lagging a tad.  So if 
most if not al Telcos here have it...then you should be good to go.

Now putting together the list of address formats for users to pick from would 
definately suck ;-)

Keep us posted on what you find.

SMS has been getting a lot of posts lately on-list...and I am watching 
carefully 
and planning my moster vision carefully *insert evil laughter here*
