Yeah, I know what you mean.  But I've heard of other limitations in
ColdFusion as well, things like the cfmail tag.  As far as I know, the
documentation doesn't say "Don't use cfmail or cfftp for problems of x
size", but you find that out anyway.  I think cfmail and probably cfftp
were intended to be quick and dirty small job solutions, not really
built to handle huge batch jobs.
