I just need IIS to do what IIS 5 has been doing on my Win 2K Server. It may not even be IIS 5.1 (can't figure out where to get that info).
So, I'm not talking about multiple virtual servers (I don't think...) I'm talking about IIIS with multiple websites setup and routed via host headers. That's different from virtual servers, right? Nope that's exactly what virtual servers are. Each website you set up on your 2k server is a virtual sever. With your XP you will only be allowed one of these at a time. You can't mix and match the IIS on the OS, you must use the one that goes with the other. With your Win 2k Server you get an IIS that allows multiple websites, with XP you don't. That's how MS makes their money. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA --------- | 1 | | --------- Binary Soduko | | | --------- "C code.
