My post below wasn't clear... First, I ran a single-server CF install...had problems keeping Apache running...uninstalled CF... re-installed CF as multi-server...still had problems keeping Apache running after restarting it... uninstalled CF and Apache...reinstalled Apache, then CF as a single-server installation.
Discovered problem with Apache was httpd.conf was in different folder than described in ACME document. Provided right path and Apache seems to be running, stopping, starting fine. But still can't start CF...systems wants to "save" .cfm file instead of opening it... I have a C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\WEB-INF directory, but no C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\cfide directory... And a search tells me there's no cfide directory in the WEB-INF directory. Ideas anyone? Guidance, anyone? That is fine, but if you did you did not do a "multi-server" installation. Thus you should not have a Jrun/servers/cfusion/.../... directories. I believe you should have a Cfusion/wwwroot/cfide directory. It's been awhile since I have done the single server setup. And never using Apache on windows, or any other OS for that matter. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA --------- | 1 | | --------- Binary Soduko | | | --------- "C code.
