The trouble I've had just getting CF and Apache running together
shows why I think, at this point, IIS might be preferable.  I probably
would be working on sights by now.

Having never used Apache, I have to ask...what is the benefit of running
Apache instead of IIS, when a Windows Server will be the OS?

Sounds like CF does not think Apache is the webserver.....have alook for the
"Web Server Configuration Tool"

Start>>Programs>>Macromedia>>CFMX 7>>Web Server Configuration Tool
