It doesn't mean that per se... I think it can be set up through messing with the xml files manually, but would probably not be very stable.
I recommend in addition to doing the stuff in serverIron (not sure why you guys can't fix it, as we don't manage our own), to use J2EE sessions and do the proper connector balancing with sticky sessions. This will use the cookies with the server name's in them to route the request to the appropriate server. Not sure if this is a feature in standard or not, but I've set it up before with Apache on Windows. Might need some xml file hacking as well.
