I like the Yahoo UI library. Dojo is easy, but not well documented and its onload functionality runs after everything else, which can mean important UI layouts render after all other JS is run (such as google adsense, analytics, etc). I ended up dropping dojo for spry which isnt' quite as feature rich, but renders much faster.
