Well consider that Gold sponsorship for CFUnited works out around $21,000 ... definately in the 20's anyway. Platinum is going to be at least 30k.
Then there's the cost of flying in around maybe 10 of the CF team plus accomodation, and whatever else. That's coming out of the ColdFusion budget... if the CF budget is now expected to pay a 5 figure sum (pounds or dollars, doesn't matter) for CFUnited Europe ... personally, I'd prefer they didn't. And in all honesty for that amount of money, do the CF team (or indeed Adobe) get enough back in return to justify the costs? It's not like they pitching new sales at the conference.
