excellent sentiment and excellent points, Teddy.  I'll just respond by 
addressing 2 of the things you brought-up:

One is that the information isn't public because TeraTech, and the 
advisers, are striving to REALLY surprise the attendees this year by 
improving on so many points.

The other is the MAX vs. CFUnited "competition" debate.  I agree - they 
aren't really in competition... but that said, some people really can 
only afford ONE big conference so whether anyone likes it or not, they 
end-up having to choose between the two.  I couldn't really blame 
someone for going with one conference or the other, depending on your 
reasons for going.

Anyway, look forward to seeing you, and hopefully many other folks on 
the list, at CFUnited (and several other upcoming worthwhile conferences).
